Stanford’s Bookless Library Heralds the Future of… Book Buying? | Fast Company.

Well, it’s coming – all you fans of books, real honest to goodness physical covers and paper (or even  GASP vellum), the writing is on the wall.

Just as vinyl still exists but is marginalized so will books. When the Stanford library reduces space in their new building by 85% (!!!) then you know the end is coming. It may not be here yet, but make no mistake, it’s coming.
