10 wishes of an IT Director

The most excellent Living Dilbert blog had a great post today about 10 wishes for an office drone. Being the rip-off artist that I am, I decided to make my own list of 10 things I would wish for should I be granted carte blanche by the office genie:

Wishes of a Corporate Director:

  1. Put laxatives in all meeting participants coffee save for mine. See how long the meetings last now, poop-boy.
  2. Disable all PowerPoint presentation capabilities or..
  3. ..put random, inappropriate pictures in said PowerPoint presentations
  4. Replace laser pointer with high output “death laser”*
  5. Have movie nights in the office classroom
  6. Two words: Nude Friday
  7. On second thought, strike that. *shudder*
  8. Bowling for time off!
  9. Free colonoscopies to all staff
  10. No more fundraisers for your children in the break room.

* Note: The military’s current laser weapon – now in the testing phase before full deployment. As a tribute to all Star Trek fans, the acronym is PHaSR. Between bluetooth headset, flip cell phones, handheld medical devices, touch screens and now this, the science and influence of Star Trek is pretty amazing.

Uh, we had 105″ of snow and 2 weeks of either below 0 or single digit temps two years ago. And much to my kids chagrin, school didn’t close once. We’re originally from VA so it’s taken a while to get adjusted.

Thanks. I’ll check out your blog and you should check out this picture as one that you should put in as “A wedding dress I wouldn’t be caught dead in.”

What are you talking about, that is an awesome dress! They should sell it in all the colors of the rainbow.
